Originally from Glendale, Arizona, Christine Young graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre and spent the next 13 years traveling around the United States stage managing opera. This career brought her to Hampton Roads in 2010 when she accepted the position of Resident Stage Manager with Virginia Opera.
After getting married and moving to Portsmouth in 2013, Christine decided to shake things up and entered the world of commercial real estate as a Leasing Administrative Assistant at First Potomac Realty Trust. She moved to JLL with the First Potomac portfolio in December 2014, obtained her real estate license in 2015, and now is an Associate in the Brokerage division of JLL’s Hampton Roads office.
At JLL, Christine is responsible for leasing First Potomac’s Hampton Roads portfolio, which comprises two million square feet of office space in Chesapeake and Norfolk, as well as representing other landlords and tenants. She has been a member of CREW since 2014 and is a member of the Downtown 100, a branch of the Downtown Norfolk Council that provides opportunities to enhance leadership skills through community involvement. When she has spare time, Christine enjoys making elaborate desserts, watching and attending NASCAR races, playing golf and spending time with family.
